Lets Talk Tweens and Teens

Dr. Jennifer Powell-Lunderis a clinical psychologist specializing in work with children, adolescents, young adults, and their families. She is the author of the book Teenage as a Second Language (Adams Media 2010). She is the creator of www.itsatweenslife.com an interactive and informational website for parents and tweens and creator and co-writer of www.Talkingteenage.com a website for the parents of teenagers.

She is a published researcher, regular writer, media expert, and presenter and consultant on parenting issues.

Dr. Powell-Lunder is the Program Director of an adolescent inpatient psychiatric unit at Four Winds Hospital. She is an adjunct professor of psychology at Pace University.

She also maintains a private outpatient practice in Katonah, NY.

Her most important role is as a wife and mother of two. She is a hockey, soccer & lacrosse mom.

Dr. Powell-Lunder is a breast cancer survivor and advocate who often writes, blogs and presents on related topics. Dr. Powell-Lunder lives by the motto “It’s not about surviving, it’s about living.”
